Mat has 20 years of experience delivering large scale innovation programmes as a Partner at the world-renowned agency IDEO and with the Design Council where he was Chief Design Officer. He brings world-class design and user experience expertise to any collaboration project run at Plus X

Sarah has had vast experience developing and cultivating relationships with corporate partners and startups globally. She now focuses her time on working with Plus X clients on their collaboration with startups on their innovation initiatives. She is particularly interested in how technology can improve our sustainability efforts.

Toby has supported companies of all sizes to innovate for the last 10 years - designing and delivering highly successful innovation programmes for corporations, universities and startups. He is responsible for all Public and Corporate programmes running at Plus X.

Bringing 15 years experience and a career spanning consultancy, social entrepreneurship and teaching, Jim heads up Plus X’s in-house product development team in the collaborative development of new product solutions, from concept to production.

Anneza joined the team from Startupbootcamp where she was Global Programme Manager working on startup programmes internationally. She now splits her time between running the UK’s leading hardware accelerator and managing startup collaboration projects with our clients. Through these programmes, Anneza has supported circular economy material startups such as Chip[s] Board and Biophilica to grow.

Alyssa has spent the best part of her career supporting companies on their sustainability journey by connecting businesses through marketing and events. She is looking forward to seeing how the connections made in Better World Collective helps shape better business going forward.

Sarah has been working across the creative industries with small and large organisations for over two decades spanning media, B2B events and corporate innovation. She has become adept at bringing together the right ideas, people and solutions to get to the heart of what needs to be achieved.

Alongside a plethora of great achievements, including holding a Ph.D. in Polymer Science, Sally has been an Innovation Lead at Innovate UK and monitored a portfolio of over 60 projects, and co-wrote scope for plastics-related competitions.

Ian has a wealth of experience helping companies to understand the mix of funding and connections that they need and help them tell their story with clarity to prospective customers, grant providers and investors. Ian uses his knowledge about company growth to help policymakers understand what they need to do to help different sectors.

Anne has over two decades of experience in the fashion and sportswear industry, where she has worked in trend research, material and product design and development for global brands and retailers including Nike, Puma, Marks & Spencer and trend forecaster WGSN. Over the last 10 years she has focussed on design-driven sustainable innovation, exploring opportunities to improve resource efficiency.

Barry has 30+ years’ experience in design and sustainability with brands and organisations across 25 countries. During various roles across global corporates, he has developed deep knowledge of innovation processes and business model development.
